The author of the project is E. Laube. The building was built in 1908.
The house is one of the architectural symbols of national romanticism. E. Laube called for the use of natural materials in construction. The architect's theoretical findings are clearly implemented in the modestly noble but effective facade decoration of the building. It uses limestone, plaster of various textures, wood and other natural materials. The sun motif in the bay window decoration is made of copper strips against the background of natural Thuringian slate tiles. The dark tone of the plaster is characteristic of the buildings of national romanticism.
