Aleksandra Apartments is an elite building of flats in one of the most beautiful buildings of the so-called Quiet Centre of Rīga. The historical part of the building was designed by the distinguished architect Rudolf Zirkwitz, and it is built in the style of late Eclecticism. The building was owned by a nobleman, and the first residents of the building were also aristocrats who started to move into the structure in the year 1900.
At the turn of the 20th century, Rīga was no longer a walled city, and the city fathers established a zone of green and shadowy parks. The Ring of Boulevards encircled the historical centre, with designs and construction that represented an explosion in the creative and economic energy that had been bottled up for centuries. New blocks of buildings were designed by outstanding architects including Mikhail Eisenstein, Eižens Laube and Konstantīns Pēkšēns.
It is no accident that the neighbourhood is on UNESCO’s list of World Cultural Heritage.
Thanks to the efforts of restorers, the historical part of the Aleksandra Apartments building has recovered its brilliance, supplemented now with elegant high-tech solutions that ensure the comforts that are automatically associated with the best class of residential flats.
An internal structure has been built in the yard of the historical building, which offers a modern and technologically perfect living environment in the heart of beauty and prestige.
Aleksandra Apartments are waiting for their new residents – people who will continue to record the history not only of the building, but also of cities and countries.
